Formal opening of Icelandic-Russian Chamber of Commerce

On November 1, 2019 the Russian Embassy hosted a formal opening of the Icelandic-Russian Chamber of Commerce.

The welcoming speeches on the opening ceremony were delivered by the Russian Ambassador to Iceland Anton Vasiliev, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iceland Guðlaugur Þór Þórðarson and the Chairman of the Chamber Ari Edwald.

Among the founders of the Chamber (more than 40 Icelandic organizations) are Icelandair, Knarr Maritime, Promote Iceland, Skaginn 3X, Marell, Samskip, MS, KS, and others.
