On the production of the traditional Icelandic cultured dairy product Skyr in Russia

The production of the traditional Icelandic cultured dairy product Skyr will be established in Veliky Novgorod, Russia, after the agreement was signed between the Icelandic company Kaupfélag Skagfirðinga svf. and the Russian dairy plant JSC «Laktis» on December 14, 2017 in Sauðárkrókur, Iceland.

Soon the citizens of Moscow and St. Petersburg will be able to try this Icelandic product that has long conquered the markets of Northern Europe, the UK, the United States and other countries.

The agreement opens a new stage in the Russian-Icelandic trade and economic relations and shows that there is a great potential to enhance the cooperation between our countries.
